GrownKid’s Club

Grownkid’s Club (GKC) is the in-person community extension of the Grownkid podcast, designed to give young people a space to socialize beyond school and work. Through weekly events in partnership with leading organizations and trendsetting youth brands, GKC is quickly becoming a cultural hotspot for youth connection and creativity.
Our first activation, “Girls and Their Stupid Twinks,” generated over 3 million organic impressions on social media. Held at Echo Park, this community gathering brought the Grownkid audience together for an evening of music, socialization, and collective play. We designed custom collectibles for attendees to trade and introduced a manifesto with one core rule: find any excuse to talk to someone. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with over 150 attendees signing up for future gatherings.
Next, we’re partnering with Madhappy, the popular LA-based mental wellness brand, for an intimate event at their flagship store on February 27th. This activation will bring together 35 youth to engage in a deeply personal experience—six presenters will each share a song and a story tied to the evening’s emotion theme.
Our long-term vision for Grownkid’s Club is to evolve into a modern-day alternative to traditional community spaces—think church, but reimagined for today’s youth. We aim to secure a permanent location, creating a town square for young people—a home for those new to a city, seeking friendships beyond school, or simply looking for a place to belong.
