A podcast that's a coming-of-age story portrayed in real-time. A culmination of mistakes and growth and a reminder you're not alone.
Launched in 2018, Teenager Therapy was created & hosted by Gael & Kayla, and was a weekly podcast consisting of 5 teenagers having honest and vulnerable conversations about the highs and lows of adolescence. Whether it was chatting about parents disapproving of coming out, struggling with suicidal ideation, or struggling to find our place in the world, nothing was off limits.
The show was an overnight success gaining thousands of followers from the first episode, largely due to the Astro marketing strategy we developed, and continued to explode in popularity over the next 5 years. Teenager Therapy was featured on the New York Times, Teen Vogue, and Time100 Talks, which attracted the attention of notable guests such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Murthy.
Teenager Therapy became the largest youth mental health show in the world with over 1 million followers across socials and ended in 2023 when the hosts turned 20 years old.
